My Comment :
I almost stop watching this drama at first because the story is, in my opinion, very slow. Although I watch this drama because Song Yun Ah is one of my favorite K-actress, but I do not like her character in the early episodes. As a girl from a rich family, sometimes it looks like Seung Ju treats Su Ah and her family bad. Even with his own boy friend, the idealist Gern Wu, Seung Joo is sometimes so immature and selfish.
However, the story becomes more and more interesting since Seung Ju’s dad is missing, her family goes bankrupt and she has to take care of her two younger brothers, whereas Su Ah and family that I feel pity of before, become more and more annoying.
Su Ah and her mom become two of the characters that I hate the most. Especially Su Ah, who has an innocent face but actually is a wolf in sheep’s clothing-type of person.. I skip alot the scenes of Su Ah and her family simply because I just can not bear to watch such an evil creatures they are..For years, Su Ah always feel envy towards Seung Joo, whatever Seung Joo has, she also wants to have it, including Gern Wu. Her unrequited love to Gern Wu makes her even nastier. She makes Seung Joo looks bad in the eyes of Gern Wu’s parents, especially his mum.
This drama is really a family-oriented one. I like the close relationship between Gern Wu and his younger brother, Gern Sae. I also like his sister Gern Soo, who is at first a very annoying person but later turns out to be one of the nicest person. When Gern Wu mom’s, because of the misunderstanding that intentionally caused by Su Ah, does not like Seung Joo, Gern Soo is the one give her support to Seung Joo..
Finally, Kim Sung Soo is really captivating here. His character is not the cool or manly type one , but is the very very kind and patient person, that you cannot be do not like him..I love the chemistry between Song Yun Ah and him..They are really great to play as couple.
