Asaoka Kyoko, a 32-year-old heart surgeon working at a hospital in Tokyo. Men tend to shy away from the tall, well-educated and well-paid Kyoko because they see her as a woman that can do things on her own. The truth of the matter is that Kyoko is just unlucky in love. She is also old-fashioned, and wants to fall in love just like anyone else, but has a hard time showing her real self to men.
However, her life suddenly changes when she meets Suga Eichiiro, a handsome and charming political journalist. With Suga, she finally experiences the passionate love that she has been longing for.
They are so madly in love until their passionate love starts to take its toll on their professional lives. Besides, Suga’s past as a ladies man also brings Kyoko insecurity. She begins to doubt if Suga truly loves her. Since as a quite complicated person, Suga’s actions often suggest the opposite. It’s along way that Kyoko has to go through before she is finally sure that Suga is really a man worth to be loved.

My Comment :
I am watching this drama because of Fujiki Naohito (Nao) and the good reviews from J-Dorama lovers about this drama. Well, it’s surely an old dorama from year 2001 but still I am glad to be able to find it at silentregrets.com.
Love Revolution is a romantic love story. It surprises me to see Nao played a ladies man character like Suga in this drama since I start to like him because of his role as a nice guy in both Around 40 and Hotaru No Hikari . I admit that Suga’s character is far more charming but still personally, I prefer the character like Okamura-san (Around 40) and Buchou (Hotaru No Hikari).
Back to the drama, the chemistry between Nao and Esumi Makiko is really great. I really like to see them together despite that once I was also doubt if Suga sincerely loved Kyoko or if he just treated her like the other women he has fling with.
As for Yabuki, I pity him for his unrequited love to Kyoko but since the beginning there is really no place for him in Kyoko’s heart.
About Mariko, Kyoko’s best friend, I don’t really like to follow her story with Yabuki that much. I think she forced herself too much in her attempt to make Yabuki loves her even though she knows Yabuki loves Kyoko. A love triangle that almost ruins her friendship with Kyoko. Luckily she is finally able to find her true love .
The other character that I like is Yoshida. I am so touched by his story. A foolish guy who truly loves Akiko and even sacrifice himself for her despite the fact that Akiko has her eyes only on Suga . It is Suga who later helped Akiko to realize how great Yoshida’s love to her.
The OST of this drama is also great..
